Our organisation
The association was founded in Hanover in 2024. It is a non-profit organisation that is registered and registered with the Hanover District Court under the number VR 2040157. The association was founded to utilise the many challenges in the Shingal region as an opportunity for change. Through the knowledge of the members, especially from Germany, knowledge in the field of innovative technologies, modern education and environmental protection should be imparted and used locally. The members of the association mostly have academic degrees, both in Germany and in Shingal, so that expertise in the important areas is available. Thanks to these qualifications, this expertise can be passed on in a professional manner.

Transparency
Our commitment to openness and trust
Utilisation of funds
Our organisation is committed to using all financial and material resources exclusively for the purposes defined in our statutes. These include the promotion of modern and digital education and environmental protection in the Shingal region of northern Iraq. Every euro donated flows directly into projects that benefit local people and bring about long-term positive change.
We avoid unnecessary administrative costs and ensure that every cent is used effectively and efficiently. If administrative expenses are incurred, they are documented and disclosed transparently.
Democratic decision-making
Our association board is democratically elected by our members every two years. The chairman, his deputy and the treasurer are elected. Every member has the right to actively participate and cast their vote. This grassroots democracy guarantees that the governing bodies of the association reflect the interests of all members and act responsibly.
Through regular general meetings, we ensure that important decisions are made jointly and that all members are involved in the strategic direction of the organisation.
Building trust together
We believe that trust is built through transparency. That is why we invite our members, supporters and interested parties to actively inform themselves about our work, ask questions and provide feedback. Your support and trust motivate us to continue working with full commitment towards our goals.
Together, we can achieve a great deal - and ensure that our work remains sustainable and effective through openness and cooperation. Transparency creates trust. Trust creates change.
